JAMMU, Sept 3: The KP leadership unanimously resolved to support the genuine cause of employees who are seeking their adjustment in camp offices at Jammu after they have left Valley due to mob violence and unrest. The demand of employees was strongly backed by the community leadership during an interactive meet organised by the employees here today. These employees working under PM’s package and non package in Valley are at protest here at the office of Relief Commissioner for last 52 days in support of their demands.
Number of leaders who attended the meet  urged upon both State and Centre Governments that these employees should not be forced to join their duties in Valley in any kind of circumstances. They asked the Government that it should hold talks with the representatives of employees to know their viewpoint.
Hundreds of employees under the banner of All Migrant Employees Associ-ation Kashmir attended this important session keeping in view the recent events in Valley which are not in the interests of employees. The employees discussed in detailed issues with their leadership and sought their intervention in solving them.
Various volunteers from employees while speaking on the occasion shared their six years of working experience in Valley with an anecdote of worst sufferings. They said that they have brought their concerns in the notice of successive Governments from time to time but unfortunately their grievances were never paid any attention.  They said that the Governments have completely failed to protect their right and interests since their appointment in Valley.
