JAMMU, Oct 6: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) held a joint meeting under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita.
While speaking, Pandita expressed concern over the slackness of the Government in permanent settlement of the Kashmiri migrants in Valley despite lapse of over two decades.
“A conspiracy seems to be hatched by National Conference to avoid permanent rehabilitation of the Kashmiri migrants in the Valley”, he alleged.
He urged the Central Government for permanent settlement of the Kashmiri migrants in the Valley with provision of jobs for the unemployed youth.
Pandita also urged the Government for restoring 16 hours power supply to Jagti township and ensuring issuance of voter identity cards.
Among others present were Sanjay Pandita, Rajinder Dhar, SL Kar, Bansi Lal, PN Bhat, VK Bhan, Girdhari Lal Bhat, ML Akhoon, etc.
