KPC chief flays CM

JAMMU, May 22: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) chief Kundan Kashmiri flayed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah over consistent persuasion for partial withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from J&K as well as making hard efforts for implementation of the policy to facilitate the return of Kashmiri militants under surrender and rehabilitation policy of State Government.
He stated that neither time is congenial nor situation in J&K has improved to go ahead with these policies and proposals.
Regarding, formation of surrender and rehabilitation policy of Government for Kashmiri militants, Kundan Kashmiri said that Government has worked out a foxy scheme to bring Kashmiri militants along with their Pak nationality family members to Valley.
KPC chief also held Central Government fully responsible for taking lenient approach over this sensitive issue by allowing Pak nationals and trained militants to return India.
Kundan Kashmiri appealed State and Central Government not to remove AFSPA partially or in toto as well as not to work on the surrender and rehabilitation policy till militancy gets completely vanished from the State.
