JAMMU, Aug 22: Kashmiri Pandit Conference( KPC ) strongly condemned the  yesterday’s  provocative statement of Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of J&K ,warning India to hold dialogue with Pakistan and separatists of Kashmir and restore Article 370, otherwise Afganistan like situation will emerge in Kashmir too and  Kashmiri people will lose their patience which will have bad consequences.
Kundan Kashmiri, president KPC , while  reacting to her provocative and anti–nation statement said that Mehbooba and her coterie  have  all together gone to the Hurriyat way who on a daily basis  nail and bash India and wants to disintegrate the nation. “We will never forget the way these Pak advocates have shown solidarity with detractors and anti India forces, advocated for Pakistan and other anti–national elements. They ( Mehbooba Mufti and her coterie ) always attempted  to weaken the Indian position in Jammu and  Kashmir and there  remarks and activities are anti-national. “Whether it was to seek proof of surgical and air strikes in POK and Pakistan, they threatened to break Jammu and Kashmir from India if Article 35A and Article 370 is repealed, they keep questioning accession, demanded separate Prime Minister for J&K, objected to colonies for Ex-Servicemen and opposed one place settlement of the Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley, who are indigenous people of Kashmir,. They described the Indian army as an occupational force’’, he added.
Kashmiri said this whole is being done by them in desperation as they have actually lost their representative character and have been exposed before the public among whom they have no acceptance.
KPC  has appealed Indian leadership  to understand the double standards and fundamentalist psyche of these so –called Kashmir centric political leaders  like Mehbooba Mufti and others and  ban the PDP and her other like minded organizations  like JEI and JKLF, arrest  and send them behind bars  which  will be in the interest  of country and peace and progress of the Kashmir Valley.
