NEW DELHI, Dec 3: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today expressed anguish over withdrawing of the cases against the stone pelters in Kashmir valley and move of releasing separatist political leaders.
The KPC termed such ill–advised decisions will never help to bring peace in the Valley.
Addressing his party activists here Kundan Kashmiri ,KPC Chief strongly condemned the Chief Minister’s decision of releasing the stone pelters en-bloc , which could confuse and demoralize the Police and security forces. It can also wash away the impact generated by NIA’s raids and arrests and would reduce it mere a joke. He said these amnesty policies would directly give advantage to the terrorists and their masters and would ultimately damage the peace process and retard progress of the State.
Further condemning both, the mainstream politicians and the separatist leaders of the Valley who had abdicated their responsibilities and discovered comfort and convenience in simply praising and supporting Pakistan, terrorists and separatists he claimed that fate of newly appointed Central representative for J&K would be no different from that of his predecessor interlocutors as New Delhi had “no actual road map for peace in the Valley, but to give concessions to separatists, stone pelters and other anti-nationals.
Kundan Kashmiri further condemned the discriminatory policies of the present Government and said it was soft towards Kashmiri stone pelters and separatists and questioned why the Government failed to withdraw cases of Jammu youths who took part in the Amarnath land row and other agitations. KPC Chief said the politicians of Kashmir feel pained for the people of Valley only but not for the people of Jammu, victim KPs and other nationalist forces of the State.
He demanded for strong actions against separatists, semi–separatists, stone pelters and provocateurs in the valley.
