JAMMU, Oct 26: Kundan Kashmiri, president Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) while lambasting on the decision of Jammu and Kashmir Congress to observe Black Day on the UT Day celebrations on October 31, alleged that the Congress was behaving worst than Gupkar alliance.
KPC chief in a statement issued today said that abolishing Article 370 and dividing J&K and Ladakh into two UTS by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah created a big history and sprung a big surprise which no one in the world had ever thought about.
The Kashmir centric parties and outfits, including Congress also considers J&K a disputed territory between India and Pakistan and vouch for trilateral talks between New Delhi, Pakistan and Kashmiris. They have been expressing themselves against what the Narendra Modi did on August 5-6 and thereafter seeking restoration of the pre-2019 August politico-Constitutional and administrative status.
KPC president said that by doing so, Narendra Modi has broken the backbone secessionists, the votaries for restoration of pre 1953 position and agents of Pakistan.
Kashmiri said that the people of J&K must know that the immediate fallout would be the re-transfer of power in those hands again in Kashmiri who have separatist mindset and who left no stone unturned after October 1947 to muddy the Indian waters in the erstwhile State and shielded the Pakistan proxies and their supporters in the erstwhile State. They will again get control of Home, Revenue, Law, Finance and General Administration departments for their interests which would weaken the Indian position in Kashmir and the nation can’t afford again, he added.
KPC president said that Congress has always been in collaboration with the Kashmir’s religio-political elite between 1947 and June 2018 and helped them segregate J&K from India
He said that nationalist forces of India in general and people of Jammu and Kashmir in particular are confident that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would defeat their designs and unwanted activities and would reject outright the demand as being made by Congress and Kashmir centric leadership.
