KPC, PK, JKNPP’s concern over BJP’s U turn on core issues

NEW DELHI, Feb 28: Taking serious exception to the recent statement of MoS Home on Article 370, Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) chief Kundan Kashmiri today said it is unfortunate that BJP has diluted its stand on the core issues.
He said BJP which has over the years taken a stand on abrogation of Article 370 has suddenly changed its stand on the issue which has cause of concern for all the nationalistic forces in the State.
He further said the Article 370 has nothing to do with relations of J&K State with rest of the India as it is only instrument of accession made by then Maharaja Hari Singh with Union of India, which ensured J&K as inseparable part of Indian nation
Kundan Kashmiri said that Kashmiri Pandits and other Nationalist forces have given great sacrifices for the same cause, so, BJP’s shift from its core agenda will hamper the total integration of the State with rest of the country.
Kashmiri, said that nationalist forces in general and Kashmiri Pandits in general who are in exile from the last 25 years are keenly watching the developments of the State, particularly, in respect of the grave issues of internally Displaced Kashmiri Pandits which include one place settlement of KPs in the Valley with writ of Indian Constitution, Commission of enquiry for mass exodus of KP’s from the Valley, restoration of political , economical and other rights of the displaced KPs,.
KPC resolved that they will continue their struggle for abrogation of Article 370, consolidated one place rehabilitation of KP,s in the Valley with writ of Indian constitution and other vital issues.
Meanwhile Panun Kashmir (PK) termed the Government formation by BJP and PDP coalition in the State as last nail in the coffin of the national security keeping in view the contours of the compromises that will act as the guiding principle of the new State Government. PK leader Vijay Bhat while addressing the members of Core group expressed concern over the complete U turn taken on Core issues by BJP including Article 370.
JKNPP zonal president Neeraj Gupta has also asked the BJP to clear its stand on Article 370, rights of West Pak refugees, AFSPA and other core issues.
In a statement issued here today he said the BJP should explain its stand on these issues as Party has taken vote on these vital issues and by changing their stand on the same the BJP has befooled the people.
