JAMMU, Dec 27: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Kundan Kashmiri.
In the meeting, the KPC leaders pledged to achieve the goal given by their mentor and their community father late Amar Nath Vashnavi about the one place resettlement of Kashmiri Pandit community at the land of Kashyap in the Valley.
The KPC leaders added that they will continue to take its stand for abrogation of Article 35-A and Article 370 to fight for miserable plight of KP minority.
While addressing the party activists, Kundan Kashmiri said that KPC will continue to highlight the failures of the past and present dispensation to deliver justice to KP masses and other nationalist forces.
Kundan Kashmiri asserted that Article 35-A and Article 370 have not only snatched the fundamental right of women folk in the State but have also jeopardized the genera,l political, civil and economic rights and interests of the minority communities in the State. He said it is direct denial to their fundamental right provided under Article 14 and 21 in Indian Constitution by not abrogating the Articles 35-A and Article 370.
He also vouched for the reorganization of the J&K State and strongly demanded for constituting four regions of the State, which include separate Kashyap Bhoomi for Kashmiri Pandits.
