KPC reiterates Kashyap State demand for Pandits in Valley

JAMMU, Oct 9: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today emphasized the need for holding immediate dialogue with displaced Hindus from the Valley demanding carving out of separate State for them in Kashmir with free flow of Indian Constitution.
Addressing a meeting of KPC unit of Jagti, its president Kundan Kashmiri said nothing except a Kashyap State within Valley was acceptable to Pandits and Government should hold immediate dialogue with community on this issue.
He demanded PM’s package be delinked for return and the benefits be given to migrants at their present locations where they are putting up. Further the migrant youth be appointed in Central Government Departments, he added.
Kashmiri demanded that more shops be constructed for displaced traders at Jagti and other camps and unemployed youth of community be also allotted shops on Jammu –Srinagar Railway track.
He also demanded that distress sale be nullified, three constituencies in exile for Assembly elections for Pandits be created two in Jammu and one in New Delhi till their rehabilitation in Kashyap State in Valley.
P N Bhat president Jagti unit, R K Bhat its general secretary, Raj Nath secretary, Babloo Gosani, Ashok JI,  cashier, M K Raina, coordinator, Shiban Ji, Rajiv Ganjoo, Santosh Raina were among others who attended the meeting.
