KPC reiterates one place settlement demand

JAMMU, Sept 10: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) in a meeting at Delhi today has reiterated the demand of one place settlement for Kashmiri Pandits in Valley by carving out a separate Kashyap State which will be the only solution to their long standing problems.
The meeting was chaired by KPC chief, Kundan Kashmiri who while highlighting the issues of displaced Pandits said that the community has full faith in the leadership of PM, Narendra Modi to settle this long standing issue of the exiled Pandits.
He also demanded that the Government should punish all those who were responsible for killing of Kashmir Pandits since 1989 under law of the land and constitute a Commission to identify the elements who were responsible for the genocide of KPs.
Kashmiri said that KPC has decided to observe the Martyrs Day of September 14 as ‘Black Day’. He also appealed the community to observe this day as Black Day by wearing black badges and switching-off lights besides exposing the tormentors of the community.
He said this way the attention of the Government will be drawn towards the plight of displaced Pandits.
KPC also appealed KP community to come forward, get united and fight for their rights and restoration of encroached land and property.
