KPC reiterates separate Kashyap State demand

JAMMU, Feb 7: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today reiterated that carving out of separate Kashyap State within Valley was only solution and alternative to honurable and dignified rehabilitation of exiled Pandits.
In a statement issued here, today KPC president, Kundan Kashmiri and its another senior leader, Tej Pandita said it is a matter of satisfaction that various organisations of KPs in India and abroad have endorsed this demand which has been made by All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) and KPC over two decades back.
They said the KP organisations should jointly fight for this demand as how long more they will lead the exiled life. They said it is time for all KP organisations to come on one platform at this juncture and take up the issue with Government as carving of separate State for exiled Pandits in valley is only viable solution to the problem in Kashmir also.
Kashmiri said that Government led by Narendra Modi has taken many decisions in the interest of the nation and annulling of 370, converting of J&K into UT and Delimitation of Assembly segments in J&K by granting the Jammu region its due to some extent will go a long in the annals of history. He expressed the hope that it is only BJP Government led by Narendra Modi which can restore the lost homeland to exiled Pandits also as community is fully confident in this regard.
He said this is the first Government in the country which believes on the principle justice to all and appeasement to none and whose mantra is Sabka Saath , Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas so the KPs hope that if any Government can give justice to them that is only the present dispensation at New Delhi.
