KPC reiterates separate state demand for Pandits

JAMMU, Sept 6: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) while reiterating that displaced Pandits be settled by carving out a Kashyap State in Kashmir Valley with free flow of Indian Constitution said that Union Government before setting the return formula in motion should take the displaced people into confidence.
In a statement issued here today KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri said that Union Government had assured the community that it will take its representatives into confidence on the return issue.
Kashmiri said that situation for the return of Pandits to their native places was not conducive and nothing accept a separate Kashyap State was acceptable to them.
