KPC’s concern over vandalizing of idol

JAMMU, Aug 23: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has condemned the act of vandalizing the murti’s in the temple of village Khirman Nandram, Handwara, district Kupwara.
In a statement, president of KPC, Kundan Kashmiri said that it is a cowardice act as well as deliberate attempt to disturb the communal harmony in the valley.
He added that earlier jewellery worth lakh of rupees were stolen from the Durga Nath temple vis-à-vis other assets and murti was also damaged.
Kundan Kashmir demanded the process of investigation to be accelerated to trace out the stolen assets as well as the people behind the incident.
