KPs appealed to ensure cent percent polling

JAMMU, Nov 8: A joint meeting of Jagti Migrants Welfare Committee and Voice of KPs, was chaired by Pintoo Ji president JMWC at Jagti. The main agenda of the meeting appealed Kashmiri Pandits to ensure cent percent polling in the forth coming Assembly elections.
“By exercising franchise, we can prove our existence as our vote is decisive and will decide the fate of the fraying candidates.” Our participation in election process and casting our votes is the victory of the democracy and the defeat of separatist’s forces a handout issued here said.” All members stressed to conduct corner meetings at various places to decide and plan how to cast the vote’s .The meeting requested all the eligible voters to fill up their M-Forms immediately and not to miss the opportunity of their basic right of franchise and be united to have unanimous decision, the handout added.
It said the community has been badly suffering since 25 years of exile. Successive Governments in J&K utterly failed to address the long pending demands and burning issues of KPs. Since no political party has reflected our concerns and urgent issues in their manifesto but only they have tossed the KP community between the sky and the earth, the community must have wits to frame their future fate, the handout added.
Others who spoke on the occasion include Vir Ji Belove Chairman JMWC Roshna Lal  Raina from Voice of KPs, Poshkar Nath, M.K. Pandita, Ravinder Raina, Avtar krishen, Ashok Ji, Raj Nath pandita, Ramesh Kumar, Roshan Lal Bhat, C.L. Pandita and Ravi Ji.
