Malla nominated Marg Darshak

JAMMU, Mar 4: In its bid to bring all displaced Kashmiri Pandit leaders, organizational heads, social activists and eminent personalities on one platform, a meeting was held by representatives of various KP organisations in Sanaskriti Bhavan here at Roop Nagar today.
The meeting assumed importance as it was attended by all personalities belonging to different parties and organizations besides the representatives from all the ten districts of Kashmir, living in exile.
Showing great concern for having a one platform of displaced Kashmiri Pandits so as to make their voice with regard to their problems, requirements and grievances more vibrant, forceful and result oriented the participants unanimously nominated a veteran KP leader, M L Malla as Marg Darshak and authorised him to rope in all community organisations for making a strong platform which will be a vibrant voice of the community so that the dream of all displaced Kashmiri Pandits comes true.
In a handout issued later the KP leaders said M L Malla was also given authority to suggest a name for this platform and give shape to its organisational structure.
It said Malla has played an important role while remaining associated with All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) and was considered a right hand man of Amar Nath Vaishnavi who was popularly called Father of Community. He had also worked for community cause shoulder to shoulder with Amarnath Vaishnavi and former president, ASKPC, H L Chatta during the mass exodus of the community.
The release said keeping in view the need of having this platform all the participants extended their full support for the common community cause and in response M L Malla assured that every effort will be made to make this platform a strong voice of displaced Kashmiri Pandit community and appealed all to join hands with him.
