JAMMU, Feb 27: A deputation of Core-Group Voice of KPs Jagti township called on Minister of State for Relief and Rehabilitation with independent Charge, Aijaz Ahmed Khan and urged him that Government should ensure the proper arrangements for Maha Shivratri festival falling on March 9.
As per a release the Minister assured the delegation that all possible measures will be taken in this regard.
The deputation further discussed some burning issues of Jagti township and demanded time frame policy to redress the same. The Minister assured that all steps will be taken in mitigating the sufferings of displaced people.
The delegation was led by Roshan Lal Raina member Apex Committee. Its other members included S L Nag, Ravinder Kumar, Vinodh Tikoo, Munoo Ji, Chuni Lal Koul, Rattan Lal Fotedar, R N Dhar, Dileep Pandita, M L Dhar, Pintoo Ji, Kaka Ji Bhan and Veer Ji Belove.
