SSK organizes ‘Samoohik Shivratri Samaroh’

JAMMU, Feb. 22: Despite all sufferings and sorrows from time to time, Kashmiri Pandits have always set an example of patriotism and nationalism. They have sacrificed their lives in preserving nationalism for that matter they deserve an honored return to the Valley and the time is ripe to run the conducive for the same after the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K.
This was stated by Swami Shri Gyananand Ji Maharaj while addressing an impressive and colourful function organized by Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, Anand Nagar Bohri, to celebrate Samoohik Shivratri at Abhinav theatre here, today.

He said that Kashmir Pandits were forced to flee from the Valley not only because of sinister, brutal, barbaric but the satanic acts and designs of the Islamic fundamentalist in the Valley.
Swami Gyananand Ji further said that the situation is perfect now and efforts are on in connection with honored and dignified return of Kashmir Pandits to the Valley
Pravachan of Swami Ji brought blissful felling among all the audience.
Earlier the function began with traditional welcome of Swami Shri Gyananand Ji Maharaj with ‘Wanvun Watchun’ by Mahila Wing of Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra. “Wanvun Watchun” brought an ecstatic feeling and a sense of belongingness among all present on the occasion.
It was followed by a variety of cultural items presented by Athroth artists ,famous Kashmiri singer Ravi Bhan and children from Jagti who recited Geeta Ji Sanskritik Karikam.A skit presented by Kamal Peshin was really a delight to watch.
PadamShri Dr. K.N.Pandita , convener of Samoohik Shivratri Samaroh Samiti presented formal welcome address, wherein he threw light on the history and significance of Maha Shivratri
He said the next edition of this annual” Samaroh “will be celebrated in the Valley itself with the grace of Almighty Shiva.
On the occasion Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj was honored on behalf of Kendra by Prof. P.N.Trisal, secretary Samoohik Shivratri Samaroh Samiti, D.N. Raina general secretary Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra and Khaimender Ji president, Sanskar Bharti
Brig (retd) Suchet Singh Prant Sangchalak, J&K,Swami Kumar Ji and Kuldeep Khuda former Chief Vigilance Commissioner, B N Ganjoo retired DIG, B L Bhat and Kuldeep Raina were also present on the occasion.
The vote of thanks was presented by trustee of Kendra H.N.Pandita while the proceedings of the program conducted by Dr. M.K. Bharat.
