KPS, KPC concerned over debarring migrants from casting vote at Bandipora

JAMMU, Oct 2 : Kashmir Pandit Sabha( KPS) and Kashmir Pandit Conference (KPC) have expressed serious concern over harassing and manhandling of members of minority community during voting in Bandipora yesterday by the agents of a political party.
In their separate statements KPS president, K K Khosa and KPC chief, Kundan Kashmiri have demanded thorough probe into the matter and arrest of culprits under law.
They said through some viral videos it has come to fore that the Kashmiri Pandit Biradri staying in Bandipora during the last 35 years of turmoil have yesterday been debarred from casting their vote and harassed by agents of Congress candidate. They said this is a serious issue and exposes the party for its biased approach towards minorities living in Valley.
The two KP leaders said this is shameful on the part of the activists of a national party which claims to be the champion of secularism that they did not allow the minority Pandits to cast their vote in Bandipora yesterday and harassed them at polling booths. They demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
