The demand was made in a webinar today in which the British Parliamentarian and great friend of India, Padamshri Bob Blackman, Sadguru Dr Charu Datta National Guide, Hindu Jagriti Samiti, Dr Abhaya Asthana, president World Hindu Council USA, Francois Gautier a journalist and author from France, Padamshri Dr K N Pandita a well known writer and author, Dr Agnishekhar, convener Panun Kashmir (PK) and Dr Ajay Chrungoo, chairman PK participated. Dr Ajay Chrungoo said it is the opportune time for passage of the Bill and the PK will mobilize the public opinion all over the country for the same. “Besides we want to build the global opinion in its favour and also turn the opinion of intellectuals and thinkers world wide that why the reversal of genocide is necessary’’, he added.
He accused the successive Governments in the country as well as J&K for strengthening the forces responsible for genocide of Hindus in Kashmir through their wrong policies and “if this trend continues for future these forces will spread their tentacles all over the country and it will be too late to take on them,. To stop this process it is imperative to redress the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus’’, he added.
Dr Agnishekhar made an appeal to Union Government that the proposed Genocide and Atrocities Bill prepared by PK be passed in the larger national interests. He said that PK is going to make aware the Hindus living in different parts of the globe that genocide of Hindus has taken place in Kashmir over 30 years back and “we are not the migrants as an adage attached to us by Government of India and J&K but we are internally displaced people having been worldly acknowledged and our problems are similar as of international refugees’’, he added.
Dr Ajay said there are two aspects of the problems of displaced Pandits one is genocide and another is denial of genocide. Accusing Pakistan and Muslim bloc for Collaborating the genocide process, he held them responsible for the same.
He regretted that GoI called the displaced Pandits as migrants and this served the cause of perpetrators of genocide. He warned that if genocide of KPs is not reversed then nothing can be reversed.
Maintaining that it is not a fight for Kashmiri Hindus but for all the Hindus, Dr Abhay Asthana president WHCA said it is unfortunate that Hindus in Kashmir have become refugees in their own country. While Sadguru Dr CharuDatta Pingle said that it is not only the Kashmir issue but the issue of entire India and by safeguarding the Hindus in Kashmir we can safeguard the entire country. Webinar was moderated by Rahul Kaul of PK, Pune.
