Mohan Bhagwat to visit Jammu on Oct 14-15

JAMMU, July 23: RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to visit Jammu on October 14-15 for taking a review of the Sangh Parivar activities in J&K and Ladakh Union Territories.
This was informed during the three-day `Prant Karyakarini Baithak’ (executive committee meeting of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh unit of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), which concluded here today.
All India Sah-Sarkaryavah Dr Krishan Gopal, who was chief guest in valedictory programme of the `Prant Karyakarini’, specifically asked the RSS functionaries in Jammu Kashmir to organize `Mahila Sammelans’ across the Union Territory to encourage women participation in the Sangh Parivar activities in the coming days and also stressed for further strengthening the `Shakha’ network here to effectively counter the anti-national elements.
Dr Krishan Gopal also chaired `Samanvay Baithak’ (coordination meeting) of the Sangh Parivar outfits and suggested different groups of the RSS affiliated organizations to work collectively and organize joint programmes in Jammu Kashmir Union Territory besides their individual activities.
Back to back valedictory programme of the three-day `Prant Karyakarini’ and `Samanavay Baithak’ were held at the RSS Headquarters in Ambphalla Jammu, here today.
The Prant Karyakarini was attended by all the functionaries and executive members of RSS in Jammu Kashmir Prant (including Ladakh). Similarly, the `Samanavay Baithak’ was attended by around 100 key functionaries of 35 RSS affiliated organizations in J&K Prant, including BJP.
While addressing the `Prant Karyakarini’, sources said that Dr Krishan Gopal stressed the need for greater participation of women in the Sangh Parivar activities and evolving leadership qualities among them. For this, sources added, he directed the RSS functionaries to organize series of `Mahila Sammelan’ (women conventions) across Jammu Kashmir Union Territory in the next two months.
“This will promote greater participation of women in the Sangh Parivar activities and also evolve leadership qualities among them, which is need of the hour,” he said.
Dr Krishan Gopal also emphasized on further strengthening RSS Shakha network and activating `Milan Mandlis’ across J&K Prant for more outreach among nationalist forces. He opined that strengthening of Shakha network will greatly help in countering anti-national elements in Jammu Kashmir.
Later, addressing the key functionaries of Sangh Parivar during `Samanavay Baithak’, Dr Krishan Gopal exhorted the RSS affiliated organizations to work closely and organize joint programmes. He suggested that besides continuing their organization specific activities, the social, economic, welfare, education etc related six groups in Sangh Parivar should also organize collective programmes for encouraging greater coordination among them.
The RSS Sah-Sarkaryavah also replied to organization related queries of the participating Sangh Parivar functionaries in the Samanavay Baithak.
During the `Prant Karyakarini’ it was informed that RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to arrive here on two day visit on October 14-15 during which he will take a review of the Sangh Parivar activities in Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. For the scheduled visit of Bhagwat, RSS Swayamsevaks were asked to prepare the list of activities and proposed programmes so that the former could take a detailed review of the Sangh Parivar functioning in Jammu Kashmir Prant.
