KRS resents delay tactics of Govt on Dogri Satellite Channel

JAMMU, Apr 7: Kashyap Rajput Sabha (KRS) today expressed its resentment over delaying tactics of Jammu and Kashmir Government on Dogri Satellite Channel.
The issue was discussed threadbare in a meeting of the Sabha organized today at its headquarter in Moti Bazar, Jammu, under the chairmanship of Murari Lal Balgotra (president of the Sabha).
All the executive members of the Sabha attended the meeting during which they expressed displeasure against J&K Government with regard to dilly delaying tactics and creating hurdles to the proposal of converting DDK Jammu on satellite mode with 24×7 channel at par with Kashir channel in Kashmir province.
All those present in the meeting extended their support to Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association regarding Dogri channel and requested the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting/Prasar Bharati to provide required budget so that the long pending demand of Jammuites can be fulfilled and discrimination with people of Jammu removed.
Ashok Dogra (ex-corporator), Jeet Raj Mehra, Puran Chand Mehra, Krishan Lal (vice-president), Gopal Sanotra (general secretary) and many others were present in the meeting.
