KSS, Sharika Foundation give scholarships to 35 students

JAMMU, July 12: Kashmiri Sewak Samaj (KSS) Faridabad in association with Sharika Foundation Charitable Trust Jammu organised a programme today at the Jammu, in which 35 Students were awarded scholarships amounting to Rs 2.99 lakhs. Certificates of excellence and medals were handed over to the students.
In the last week of June 2024, KSS and SFCT organised similar programmes at Mattan Anantnag and Zethyar Srinagar and handed over 11 scholarships amounting to Rs 1.27 lakhs to the students residing in Kashmir along with certificates of excellence and medals.
A few students of different areas who directly applied to KSS for scholarships were also awarded scholarships amounting Rs 70,000/-
A cheque of Rs 25000/- was given to Waso Public schools as educational support for deserving students.
This year Kashmiri Sewak Samaj Faridabad disbursed Rs 5.11 lakhs as a scholarship amount besides that each student was handed over a citation certificate, a Medal and a picture of Maa Sharika.
It is noteworthy to mention that Kashmiri Sewak Samaj Faridabad has been supporting a few deserving students every year since last more than two decades.
Kashmiri Sewak Samaj Faridabad is very thankful to Sharika Foundation Charitable Trust Jammu for their support in selection of the deserving candidates and to arrange the scholarship programme at Jammu and in Kashmir valley.
The distribution of scholarship was held in the presence of Sunil Thusoo, Sanjay Dhar, founders of SFCT and Kashi Akhoon vice president of KSS Faridabad.
