KSS urges Govt to ensure safety of minorities in Valley

JAMMU, Oct 9: Kashmir Sikh Sangat (KSS) has strongly condemned the brutal killing of two innocent teachers in Srinagar and urged the Government to ensure safety of minorities in the Valley.
Addressing a press conference, KSS president Baboo Singh said that this type of action at the hands of the terrorists is anti-human and anti-Islam. He said that Islam does not teach to kill innocent people, especially women.
“Our community had faced the wrath of militancy during last 30 years and had stood like a rock with their brothers in Kashmir valley. Nearly 200 souls have been lost by our community during this turmoil and we have been living bravely and are busy with our day to day activities of life in a peaceful atmosphere for prosperity of the State,” Singh added.
This type of cowardly act by the terrorists will not deter us to keep the century old bonds of brotherhood intact and live peacefull Singh said and requested the Muslim brothers to strongly condemn this cowardly action. He also requested the administration to take strong action against these anti-national elements and thwart nefarious designs of their masters.
“This incident has shattered confidence of our brothers and sisters, who are working in far flung areas of the Valley,” the KSS president stated and urged the UT administration to call back all these employees near their homes till normalcy is restored in the Valley.
