SRINAGAR: The Kashmir University (KU) has postponed all examinations scheduled to be held tomorrow and Tuesday, in view of prevailing situation in the valley.
Meanwhile, all the colleges and Higher Secondary Schools (HSS) in Srinagar will remain closed tomorrow due to security reasons.
A KU Spokesperson said the varsity received representation from students that examinations be postponed, in view of prevailing situation in the Valley.
The authorities have decided to postpone all examinations, which were scheduled to be held tomorrow and on Tuesday, in view of concerns raised by the students, he added.
The Spokesman said fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be notified separately.
The District Magistrate of Srinagar said that all colleges and HSS in this summer capital will remain closed tomorrow.(AGENCIES)
