JAMMU, Aug 25: BJP State Sanskrit, Art and Cultural Cell convenor, Kulbir Charak here today held a public meeting wherein scores of residents of Channi Himmat raised problems being faced by them regarding addition, deletion and correction of names and addresses in Ration Cards.
Many deputations apprised Charak of the issue of change of address as there are hundreds of families which have now shifted to Channi Himmat and adjoining areas from various other places of J&K during the last decade.
A number of families demanded addition of names of their children and daughters-in-law.
Charak listened to all the deputations and their issues and assured them to take up all these matters with the concerned officials to get all their issues resolved on top priority.
He informed the Channi Himmat deputations that he has already help over 5000 Channi Himmat residents to get Domicile Certificates, distributed over 3500 Ayushman Health Cards and helped over 550 residents to be registered as new voters.
