Kulbir to head Janipur Market Asso

JAMMU, Jan 16: Kulbir Singh proprietor of Amar Electronics, Main Stop Janipur was elected president of Janipur Mark-et Association, the elections of which were held here, today.
In a keenly contested election he defeated his nearest rival Ramesh Chander Bali by a margin of 55 votes. Out of total 253 votes, Singh got 153 votes while Bali got 98 votes. Two votes were rejected. The election was held under the supervision of Raman Bakshi who was earlier nominated as chief Election Commissioner by the Association.
