JAMMU, Nov 26: Kuldeep Singh has been elected as president of Jammu Kathua Area Passenger Bus Service Union.
The general election for the post of president of the Bus Union was held the other day under the chairmanship of T S Wazir, Chairman All J&K Transport Welfare Association, J&K. Tehsildar Jammu South, Manjeet Singh and SHO Gangyal supervised the election process.
Out of the total 362 votes, 357 were polled. Kudeep Singh bagged 22 votes while his rival Harvinder Singh secured 135. Kuldeep Singh was declared as the winner by the Tehsildar.
