Srinagar, Oct 5: Kuldeep Singh Sodhi was re-elected today as the president of the Kashmir Sikh Sahayak Sabha during its annual general meeting held here.
A spokesperson for the Sabha stated that the annual general meeting took place at the Gurdwara Shaheed-Bunga Sahib meeting hall in the Barzalla Baghat area of Srinagar, where members convened to elect a new president.
He said that the president, Kuldeep Singh Sodhi, extended a warm welcome to the attendees, provided a comprehensive report on the Sabha’s activities over the past four years, dissolved the current executive body, and called for the election of a new president.
He informed that Ajeet Singh Mastana was appointed as the Election Commissioner to oversee the election process, explaining the procedures in accordance with the Sabha’s Constitution. “The members unanimously approved Kuldeep Singh Sodhi for his second term as president, expressing their appreciation for the previous committee’s work,” he said.
