JAMMU, Apr 30: A kulla was gutted in fire in Karel Manhasa area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
As per police sources, a kulla owned by Noor Alam caught fire under mysterious circumstances in Karel Manhasa area.
After getting information, a team from Bishnah police station led by SHO Inspector Paramjit Singh rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
The fire fighters along with three fire tenders and doused the flames with the help of police team and locals. The items worth several lakhs kept in and outside the kulla were completely damaged.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss has not been ascertained yet.
Bishnah police has taken cognizance in this regard.
