JAMMU, Jan 21: The Committee on Petitions (PC) of Legislative Council today examined the LAWDA report with regard to land compensation petition filed by Ali Mohammad Renu and Ghulam Mohammad Renu, Nandpura, Srinagar.
The Committee, which met here today under the chairmanship of B. R. Kundal, examined the report received from LAWDA on the subject under the examination.
The Committee expressed dissatisfaction with the reply of LAWDA. The committee directed Vice Chairman, LAWDA to take necessary action on the order passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, in the year, 2009 with regard to the subject and submit action taken report to the Committee before next meeting.
The meeting was attended by members of the Committee Nizam-ud-Din Khatana, G. Q. Pardesi, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Master Noor Hussain and Dr. Shehnaz Ganai.
Deputy Secretary Legislative Council, Ashfaq Ahmed Wani and Under Secretary Legislative Council, G. M. Nishati were also present in the meeting.
