JAMMU, Oct 2 : B.R. Kundal M.L.C dedicated newly established transformer of 100 KVA capacity to the Community of Phinder R.S. Pura for its use. Total of Rs. 3.04 lakh stands expended, & on the day of inauguration as many as 60, consumers got authorized connections. With the installation of this transformer supply to the deficit area got enhanced.
Large number of residents including Ladies, Sarpanch, Panches, Lamberdars welcomed the M.L.C. & thanked him for this work.
Prior to the inauguration, closing ceremony of a cutting / tailoring centre for ladies, at village Singhpur R.S. Pura was also presided over. In this training centre 20 ladies got three months basic training & were advised to constitute self help groups, so that commercial units, are set up to provide employment & income to the out going trainees. He promised to get them financed help from the SC/BC Corporation.
