SAMBA, Feb 27: Two day employment-cum-awareness fair was inaugurated by MLA Samba, Yash Paul Kundal here today.
The fair was organized by District Employment and Counseling Centre, Samba. All the departments dealing with employment generation schemes and the financial institutions participated in the fair and displayed their products and schemes. The experts of different departments were also available to provide the information to the youth regarding various schemes.
About 20 stalls were set up by different departments and banks to provide information to the unemployed youth regarding various schemes.
On the occasion, Kundal said that there is lot of employment potential in sectors like Agriculture, Fisheries, Agriculture, Horticulture and impressed upon educated youth to explore self employment opportunities and avail the benefits of schemes launched by departments.
Earlier, Assistant Director District Employment and Counseling Centre, Samba presented a resume of activities of the district Employment and Counseling Center Samba.
