JAMMU, Sept 17: MLC BR Kundal today conducted a visit of flood affected villages like Salher, Bole Chack, Tara Chack, Jagtu Chack to take first hand information regarding damages occurred to public and private properties due to incessant rains.
During the visit, Kundal held interactive meetings at different places and listened to the problems being faced by the villagers due to incessant rains.
While interacting with the gathering Kundal expressed grief over the loss of human lives and appreciated the coordinated efforts put in by various State and Central agencies to mitigate the suffering of the residents in both the provinces of Jammu and Kashmir.
Kundal impressed upon the local administration to provide immediate relief to the flood affected people as late disbursement loses its sheen. Non-availability of power in village Jagtu Chack and stagnation of water in the streets of village Salher and Jagtu Chack were also pointed out and the concerned departments asked to take remedial steps at the earliest possible time.
