JAMMU, Apr 11: Congress MLC and former Chief Secretary B R Kundal today toured Bansultan village in Miran Sahib and interacted with locals for apprising himself of their grievances.
The people, led by Sarpanch Devinder Singh, highlighted their problems like bad condition of lanes and drains, no LPG distribution centre in the area, delay in getting old age pension, no development works, etc.
Mr Kundal assured the people that he would take up their issues with the concerned authorities for their early redressal. He also assured development works in Bansultan village.
The MLC also addressed a small public meeting in the village and appealed people to strengthen the Congress party for more development of the area and the entire State. He said that only Congress can ensure overall development of Jammu Kashmir.
On the occasion, Sarpanch Com Kishore, Kundan Lal Sharma and Sarpanch Rajinder Singh were also present.
