UDHAMPUR, May 8: Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Udhampur celebrated its Annual Function-cum-Golden Jubilee Year with great zeal and enthusiasm, here today.
The function which was presided over by Major General AP Rai, GOC, 71 Sub Area, was illumined by chanting Vedic mantras.
A welcome song was sung to give a formal welcome to all luminaries.
The Principal of the School, Dr Rameshwar Prasad welcomed the distinguished guests and presented year long achievements of the School.
Prizes were conferred to the teachers and students for their achievements. Indian social diversity was presented through the performance of dances of different states.
Vote of thanks was presented by Vikramaditya, a senior teacher of the school. The programme concluded with a sacred note of national anthem.
