JAMMU, Jan 7: Dr. Berjesh Ajrawat of village Rajbagh, Kathua working as Scientist in Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kathua has been honoured with Young Extension Worker Award by the Society of Agriculture Innovation and Development, Ranchi in international conference held recently at Pataya and Bangkok in collaboration with Asian Institute of Technology and Knon Kaen University Bangkok, Thailand.
The award was conferred to the scientist on the basis of his outstanding extension work in the field of agriculture and allied sectors for the welfare of the farming community.
The Society conferred the Best Extension Worker award to the scientist based on his research papers, articles, success stories, case studies, Radio/TV talks, invited talks, consultancy services, SHGs/Farmers Clubs managed, technologies disseminated etc for the welfare of the farming community.
