KVS organizes 22nd cluster level NCSC

JAMMU, Oct 17: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Jammu region, today organized 22nd Cluster level National Children Science Congress (NCSC) in nine clusters of the region.
For Jammu cluster, the National Children Science Congress was held at Kendriya Vidalaya No 1, Jammu, which was inaugurated by chief guest, AS Gill.
A total of 108 group leaders in the age groups of 10 to below 14 years and 14 years to below 17 years are participating in each cluster.
The programme at KV No 1, Jammu started with welcome song presentation by the students of the host Vidyalaya. T R Choudhary, principal of the host Vidyalaya, formally welcomed the guests and gave the details of the Congress.
The theme for this year’s Science Congress is -Understanding weather and Climate Change with the sub themes on the topics-Understanding the Weather Around; Impact of Human Activities on Weather and Climate; Weather, Climate and Eco-System; Weather, Climate-Society and Culture; Weather, Climate and Agriculture and Weather, Climate and Health.
The selected participants will work with their projects to participate at Regional, State and National levels. The vote of thanks was extended by BC Dwibedi, vice-principal of the Vidyalaya.
