KVS organizes Sub-Regional Social Science Exhibition

JAMMU, Oct 4: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) today organized two-day Sub-Regional Social Science Exhibition-cum-Social Integration camps at three venues–KV No 1, Srinagar, KV Sunjuwan and KV No 1, Pathankot, to promote socio-cultural spirit of common brotherhood and unleash the knowledge amongst all the pupils of India transcending religious, linguistics and regional barriers.
The Exhibition at KV No 1, Srinagar was inaugurated by AVLJ Rao, Deputy Commissioner, KVS, Jammu Region.
At KV Sunjuwan Col Anupam Shrimali, Deputy Commander 36 Infantry Brigade, Sunjuwan, was the chief guest and AS Gill Assistant Commissioner, KVS, Jammu Region, was the guest of honour.
Principal, KV Sunjuwan, TR Choudhary, welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of the Exhibition. A cultural programme was also presented by the students of the School.
Speaking on this occasion, A S Gill, said that the students of KVs have shined in all walks and fields of life at National and International levels and the Sangathan has progressed a lot during this period.
“Sangathan is catering quality education not only in the country but at abroad as well. There is no competitor of KVS in performance in the field of Academics, Service and Co-curricular areas”, he added.
About 1800 students from KVs of Jammu Region spread over the State, parts of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are participating in the programme.
