JAMMU, Dec 15: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan organized KVS Regional Incentive Award Ceremony – 2016 at KendriyaVidyalya No 1, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, where Simrandeep Singh,   Deputy Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest.
Fifteen teachers and miscellaneous staff were honoured with KVS Regional Incentive Awards on this occasion. The staff members, who were awarded with KVS Regional Incentive award, included- Kusum Malhotra (Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Amritsar Cantt).  Puran Lal (Headmaster, KV Nangal Bhur),   Rama Goel (PGT Mathematics, KV No.2 Pathankot), Anita Sharma (TGT Social Science, KV No.3 Pathankot),  Ashok Kumar (TGT (Maths, KV No.2 Akhnoor),  Sandesh Kumar Bhat ( TGT Maths, KV No.1 Jammu),  Asha Mirza (Librarian, KV  No.2 Akhnoor),  Ashok Kumar (TGT WE, KV  No.2 Pathankot,  KV No.3 Amritsar),  Sudesh  Kohli (PRT, KV a No.1 Udhampur), Anjali Kaul Hak (PRT, KV  Nagrota),  Parveen Gupta (PRT,   KV  No.2 Pathankot),  Vidushi Dutta (PRT, KV  Nagrota),  Ravinder Kour (PRT,  KV No.1 Jammu),   Surendra Singh Rawat (Assistant, KV  No.1Jalandhar),  Balbir Singh Jamwal (U.D.C, KV Chennani).
In the field of BS&G, Chandresh Kumar (PGT Hindi, KV No.1 Jalandhar),   Ramma Mehta (TGT- P&HE) were awarded.
While speaking on this occasion, Simrandeep Singh said that teachers are great treasure with KVS and they as well miscellaneous staff are contributing a lot to raise the KVS to a world class organization. He said that KVS is a premier organization and Sangathan has been making a progress by leaves and bounds with a holistic approach towards catering quality education in the country and abroad. He congratulated the awardees and expected that they will inspire the others to follow them.
S Sambanna, Deputy Commissioner, KVS (JR), in his address, highlighted the contribution and achievements of KVS Jammu Region in the development of education in the Region.
On the occasion, a Cultural programme was also presented by the students of different Vidyalayas of Jammu Region.
A vote of thanks was extended by A S Gill, Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jammu Region.
