JAMMU, Aug 10: A lab assistant posted at Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Muthi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana Police Station.
As per police sources, a lab assistant posted at SSH namely Sunita, daughter of Govind Ram of Muthi allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence.
Finding her hanging, family members informed the police and the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
