Labour Deptt employees stir from tomorrow

SRINAGAR, July 14: The Labour Department employees are all set to observe hunger strike from July 16 in support of their demands.
In a statement issued here by the President, Labour Department Non-Gazetted Employees Union, Mohammad Salim Zargar it has been said that many demands of the employees are pending for a long time. Zargar said that the hunger strike would be carried out in order to remind the Government about their demands.
Zargar said departmental promotion committee of the department should meet immediately and  the stagnation of ministerial/executive cadre of labour department and provident fund organization should be removed.
He said that the kin of the employees who passed away during service should be appointed under SRO-43.
