JAMMU, Nov 30: Continuing with the drive to check the problem of child Labour ,a team of Labour Department officials comprising of Shivika Sharma, Seema Kharyal, Roshan Bandral all Labour officers headed by Renu Bala Saini, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Jammu conducted on spot inspection under Child Labour Act in the area of Greater Kailash, Jammu today.
During the inspection, a minor child namely Deepak, Son of Ram Din presently residing at Greater Kailash, Jammu was found working in the Fast Food Shop M/S Diksha Fast Food at Fawara Chowk, Greater Kailash, Jammu. He was rescued in presence of officials of Child Line Jammu. The child after rescue was handed over to the Child Welfare Committee for Rehabilitation. The Department has also initiated action against the defaulter.
