RAMBAN, Apr 22: A labourer died today in a mishap at a stone crusher in Bhatti Maitra area.
“Identified as Rakesh Sharma (28) son of Thakur Dass, resident of Khattra Kabi village, the labourer severely injured this afternoon while working at private stone crusher in Bhatti Maitra area after his arm accidently stuck in crusher shaft,” a police official said.
He said the injured labourer was rushed to District Hospital Ramban where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem and other legal formalities while a case under relevant sections was registered in this connection at police station Ramban.
