UDHAMPUR, May 21: A labourer sustained severe electric shock when he came in contact with live wire at Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple street, here today.
The victim was identified as Darshan Kumar (40), son of Laju Ram of Marta Ramnagar, who is working as labourer with Parmeshar Datt House at Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple street Udhampur.
The incident took place when he was carrying an iron rod, which accidentally touched open electric wire. He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his serious condition.
