Labourer killed, another injured as roof top collapses

JAMMU, Oct 26: A labourer was killed while another received injuries after roof top of a house collapsed in Sector 2 of Roop Nagar area here today.
As per police sources, two labourers suffered injuries after roof top of a house collapsed in Sector 2 of Roop Nagar.
Both the injured labourers were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced one of them as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Thakur Singh, son of Narayan Singh of Chattisgarh, at present Bantalab District Jammu, while the injured was identified as Ram Singh, a resident of Chattisgarh at present Bantalab District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 117/2022 under section 304-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Janipur against the concerned contractor and investigation started.
