LEH, Oct 19: The Administration in the Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh has issued appointment offers to 523 candidates.
A statement said that the offers of appointment in favour of 339 candidates selected against the UT and Divisional cadre posts have been issued on the recommendation of Staff Selection Commission and the offers of appointments in favour of 184 candidates selected against the District cadre posts have been issued on the recommendation of the Leh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Service Selection Recruitment Board.
While the SSC recommended posts fall in the Departments of Planning Development and Monitoring, Labour and Employment, Health and Medical Education, Revenue, Law, Information, Industries and Commerce, Transport, Finance, Social Welfare, Tourism, and Home the Leh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Service Selection Recruitment Board recommended posts fall in Public Health Engineering, Revenue, Animal Husbandry, Industries and Commerce, Health and Medical Education, and School Education Departments.
The UT of Ladakh has granted a month time to the selected candidates to accept the offers of appointments, failing which their offers of appointment shall be cancelled.
