JAMMU, Jan 14: The Union Territory Administration in Ladakh has appointed the Administrative Secretary, Social and Tribal Welfare Department, as the Nodal Officer to ensure compliance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
As per an order, this decision followed the Supreme Court’s directions in the Justice Sunanda Bhandare Foundation vs. Union of India case, issued on December 3, 2024.
