RAMBAN/JAMMU, Mar 13: Ramban, Narwal and Bhaderwah police arrested three persons including a lady along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, a team from Ramban Police Station led by SHO Inspector Vijay Kotwal along with Incharge Police Post Rajghar SI Sunil Dutt under supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma laid a naka near Kunda More and apprehended a person along with 40 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Kunj Lal, son of Sanat Ram of Kunda, Jatgali District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 50/19 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against the accused person at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Narwal Police Post led by SI Khyatimaan Khajuria arrested a lady along with 10 litres of illicit liquor.
The arrested lady has been identified as Poonam, wife of Satvir of Rajeev Nagar, Narwal.
A case under FIR Number 70/19 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation has been initiated.
In one more similar incident, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station during checking at Domail nabbed a man along with 37 quarters of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Kashmir Singh, son of Prem Nath of Chiralla.
A case under FIR Number 21/19 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
