KATHUA, Mar 29: District police Kathua today recovered approximately six grams of Heroin like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS) Kathua and one lady was arrested in this connection.
Police said on the overall directions of SSP Kathua, R.C Kotwal -, today a police team led by Inspector, O P Chib SHO PS Kathua under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua, Shammi Kumar during routine Naka/checking duty noticed the movement of one suspicious lady namely Priya Devi, Wife of Kamlesh Kumar of Chack Drab Khan, Kathua who was directed to stop for checking.
On her physical search, approximately six grams of heroin (Chitta) like narcotics was recovered from her illegal possession. Meanwhile all the recovered narcotics substance was seized and the lady was arrested. A case vide FIR No. 119/2022 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered at PS Kathua and further investigation has been initiated.
