JAMMU, May 15: Bishnah police arrested a lady along with 10 litres of illicit liquor and destroyed 250 litres of lahan.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station conducted raid and apprehended a lady along with 10 litres of illicit liquor. Police team also destroyed 250 litres of lahan on the spot.
The arrested lady has been identified as Anju Devi, wife of Surjeet Kumar of village Dhindey Khurd Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 78/2020 under section 48 (a), (e), (f) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan, SP Headquarters Jammu Raja Adil Hamid and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
